Before joining Videoslots, Komemi served as CEO/Executive Manager at Marketplay in Malta, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the white-label casino company and contributing significantly to its growth and success. Her appointment is seen as a strategic move for Videoslots as the company seeks to expand and strengthen its operations in 2024.

Videoslots recently faced a SEK 9 million penalty by the Swedish Gambling Authority for lapses in anti-money laundering protocols and customer activity monitoring. Additionally, in June 2023, Videoslots agreed to a £2 million settlement with the UK’s Gambling Commission.
